The origin of Easter bunny has his origin at Christian’s times.It was a symbol of fertility. The Hare and the Rabbit known as the most fertile animals served as symbols of the new life during the spring season.

 

The bunny known as an Easter symbol has it's origins in Germany. In the early 1800s were made the first Easter bunnies of sugar and pastry.

In the American folklore was introduced the Easter bunny by the German settlers, who arrived in Pennsylvania during the 1700s. The "Oschter Haws" since then itwas considered the” childhood’s greatest pleasure" next to a visit from Christ-Kindel on Christmas Eve. The children believed that if they were good the "Oschter Haws" would lay a full nest of wonderful and colored eggs.

 

Some time later the use of elaborate Easter baskets would come as the tradition of the Easter bunny spread through out the country.
